Educational Details Of West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024
Candidates must have passed West Bengal Board of Secondary Education’s Madhyamik Examination or equivalent.
Age Criteria for West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024:
- The applicant must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old and not more than 30 (thirty) years old as of January 1, 2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxable under the following conditions:
- By 5 (five) years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates.
- By 3 (three) years for Other Backward Classes – A and Other Backward Classes – B candidates.
- By 3 (three) years for Third Gender persons.
- By 5 (five) years for Civic Volunteers/Village Police Volunteers serving in West Bengal Police only.
- By the total number of years of completed service for Ex-servicemen candidates, subject to a maximum age of 40 (forty) years
Selection Process for West Bengal Police Constables Recruitment 2024:
Candidates will be selected based on the following stages:
- Preliminary Written Test
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Final Written Examination
- Interview
West Bengal Police Constables Recruitment 2024 application fee:
All candidates, except those from West Bengal’s Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, are required to pay an application fee of Rs 170. However, candidates in the SC/ST category must pay an application fee of ₹20.
