According to the British press report, the shot-dead body of the Green Anaconda was found in the Formoso River in the Bonito village of the Amazon, located in the southern part of Brazil, on March 24. Queensland University biologist Professor Brian Fry led the team of scientists. He said, ”Scientists were also with the hunting party during the 10-day expedition in the area. According to the Natural History Museum of Britain, ”The green anaconda is the heaviest snake in the world. They can be up to 8.43 m (27.7 ft) long and up to 1.11 m (3.6 ft) wide.”
