According to sources, the Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma actor and actress Raj Anadkat and Munmun Dutt have called off their engagement to stand in Gujarat in the presence of family members.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (TMKOC)  is one of the most talked about television shows in our Indian television industry. This right has naturally gained immense popularity all over India and beyond. In this television show, Munmun Dutt acted as Babita Iyer and Raj Anadkat starred in Tipendra Jethalal Gada as the son of Jetha Lal Champak Lal Gada. His nickname is Tappu in this serial.

It has been rumoured for a long time that Munmun Dutt who is known as Babita Iyer in the serial and Raj Anadkat who is known as Tappu are dating. But when they were asked this question, Munmun Dutt replied that ”it was a fabricated story” as reported by News 18.

But in a private ceremony, this couple of  Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (TMKOC) Munmun Dutt and Raj Anadkat got Engaged in Vadodara. Present were members of the immediate family. “The engagement took place just a few days before,” a source told News18. It seems that in Vadodara, Gujarat, the two exchanged rings. The families of Munmun and Raj attended the event and announced their acceptance of their relationship.

Earlier, Munmun Dutta refuted dating arguments

Earlier, in 2021 when the news of their dating surfaced in the media, Munmun and Raj reacted differently on Instagram. Raj Anadkat wrote on his Instagram handle  “To everyone who has been writing about me nonstop, please consider the consequences that could arise in my life as a result of your “COOKED UP”  articles, especially if they are about my life without my permission. Please channel your creativity somewhere else, everyone who is creative; will be beneficial to you. May God provide them with insight.

Munmun also gave a stern reply to the trolls about him on Instagram. She wrote on Instagram ”I entertained people for 13 years but it didn’t even take 13 minutes to destroy my respect by people.

Jethalal Champaklal Gara is very fond of Munmun i.e. Babita Iyer. In this serial Tappu i.e. Raj plays the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gara’s son so fans are laughing a lot about it on X (Twitter)
