Siliguri: On Monday morning, a woman’s mobile was robbed at a Siliguri bus stand—the incident at NBSTC Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus in front of Siliguri Junction. A miscreant snatched the mobile from a woman’s hand and ran away.
The woman’s name is Dolly Das. She was going to Nepal for her mother’s eye treatment. His mother’s house is in Fulbari at Siliguri, and she lives in Cooch Behar. When she got down at the Siliguri NBSTC bus stand and took out the phone from his bag to make a call, a miscreant stole his mobile phone and ran away.
After this incident, Dolly Das lodged her complaint with the Siliguri police station. On such a day, the incident of robbery at noon raises the question of security at the Siliguri bus stand in the minds of common people.
