West Bengal govt to provide free new irrigation machines to farmers

Using this Krishak Bandhu Scheme, farmers receive up to Rs 10,000 a year. There are two instalments for this payment. The West Bengal government has made an excellent statement for the state’s small and marginal farmers. To assist them in farming, the state government would give them free agricultural equipment.
The state government’s ‘Krishi Sech Yojana’ will provide this facility to small and marginal farmers. They will be provided with free drip irrigation and sprinklers for fountain irrigation. Why will this irrigation equipment be given for free?
According to the Bankura District Agriculture Officer, the primary goal of this project is to supply free irrigation equipment to underprivileged farmers to assist them in growing crops. Farmers are receiving micro-irrigation facilities under the West Bengal state government’s Krishak Bandhu Scheme initiative, which helps to meet the agricultural sector’s water needs. will all work together to cut down on water waste.
