Five men and one woman in a hotel room in Madhavnagar. They used to visit this hotel every day, the call centre was running there. 7 accused including a woman have been arrested in the police operation. The accused were sitting in a hotel in Gwalior and used to cheat citizens of other countries including Britain and America.
The men and women who were arrested were allegedly scamming foreign nationals
The arrested men and women were allegedly scamming foreign nationals by calling themselves fake agents of Microsoft. Gwalior Police has busted a gang that cheated foreign nationals through call centres.

A few people were running the call centre in a room on the second floor of the Ashirvad Hotel in Madhavnagar on Jhansi Road. Gwalior police got the information from an informer. Under the cover of the international call centre, these boys and girls were calling the citizens of America, Britain and other countries and pretending to be fake agents of Microsoft company and stealing lakhs of money on the pretext of having a virus in the computer.

In the room, six boys and a woman were sitting in front of a laptop and talking in English with headphones on. These boys and girls were caught by the police while sitting on chairs. Among those arrested are Abhay Rajawat, Nitesh Kumar, Deepak Thapa, Parvez Alam, Shweta Bharti, Raj Kailaskar and Suresh Wasel.

Gwalior IG Arvind Saxena said, “The dialled, missed and received call numbers shown in the call option of the application screen on the laptop monitor screen are foreign international numbers and not Indian numbers. The boy and girl were seen working at the call center and preliminary inquiries were made at the scene. It is learned that the group arrived in Gwalior about seven days ago and has been working ever since Sanjay Vadauria of Morena provided the space and furniture setup to work in Gwalior. There was other electronic equipment including laptops, mobile phones and wifi routers. According to a report by News 18.
