DUBAI (May 22, 2024) – Ameni Esseibi as First Regional Ambassador. French luxury brand Jean Paul Gaultier has announced Tunisian model Ameni Esseibi as the first-ever regional ambassador for its fragrance line. Esseibi celebrated as the first plus-size model in the Middle East, brings a fresh and inclusive perspective to the brand.

Esseibi stars in the campaign for Jean Paul Gaultier‘s iconic Scandal perfume, showcasing the fragrance in a series of stunning images.

In the campaign, Esseibi dons a variety of striking outfits. One standout look features a form-fitting blue dress with pink floral designs. Another highlights her in a vibrant jumpsuit of the same hue, adorned with geometric prints in yellow, orange, purple, and pink. Additionally, she wears a sophisticated black gown and a sheer beige and gold top layered over a simple black base, exemplifying the brand’s bold and eclectic style.

“Jean Paul Gaultier is more than just a brand to me,” Esseibi shared in a statement. “It feels like family. Its identity embodies everything I stand for rebellion, strength, boldness, fearlessness, sensuality, and a touch of scandal.”

Esseibi made her international debut in September 2022, walking for French label Victor Weinsanto at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, she has collaborated with several esteemed brands, including H&M, and has been featured in numerous publications.

In 2022, the Arab Fashion Council, a non-profit organization representing the fashion industry in the Middle East and North Africa, named the Dubai-based model as its ambassador. This new role with Jean Paul Gaultier marks another significant milestone in her groundbreaking career.
