Some of the basic factors we need to keep in mind while buying a phone are:

Display Of a Smartphone –

When we buy a smartphone, we first look at the display, so we will discuss the display first. Nowadays, there are various types of displays available in the market like LCD, 10bit, HDR, AMOLED etc. with phones, but in simple terms, there are three types of displays.

  1. TFT – The TFT type display is the most basic type of display with a dimension of 6.5″ HD+ (1600 px × 720 px). These displays are commonly found in the cheapest phones. In my opinion, it is better to avoid phones with a TFT display.
  2. LCD – There is a very similar relationship between TFT and LCDs. LCD has better brightness and contrast than TFT display. If you want to buy a phone within 15 thousand rupees, then you can buy an LCD-type display (The refresh rate must be 90hz to 120hz). But it would be foolish to get a TFT LCD in a phone above 15000 rupees.
  3. AMOLED – If you buy any phone above 15000 to 50000 or more then you must consider an AMOLED display. Emullet display is best as it will give you a great outdoor and indoor viewing experience and no problem with brightness and contrast.

Seconds is the refresh rate of the display that matters a lot to your user experience. The refresh rate of the display is usually 160 to 120 Hz, but now many phones are showing more than 144 Hz and 164 Hz. But it is seen in very few phones. But between 144 hz and 166 hz, there is not much difference, the difference is most visible between 60 hz and 90 hz and between 60 hz and 120 hz. I think 90 Hz is a great choice.

There are some other factors in the display such as HDR, 10 bit/8 bit, and Dolby, but even if you ignore them, there is no change in the use of mobile in daily life. It can compromise your viewing experience by only two to four per cent. Those who love the display very much can check them. If there are any two of these three options, the experience of viewing your phone will be great.

The second thing is Build Quality :

The build quality of the phone is very important when you buy a phone. A phone’s build quality can reveal your personality. These days, the back of the phone is made of glass, plastic, leather and vegan leather, I don’t know how many other things have come. On the side of the phone, plastic, aluminium, and different types of aluminium, and now I see that titanium has also started to be offered.

But we have to talk here about buying a phone which one is better for us then I have to stand there and see if you buy any phone above 15k then it must have gorilla glass protection it is a basic need. If you like any phone above 50k  rupees, Gorilla Glass Victus must be there, And if you buy a phone above 25 thousand rupees, it must have Gorilla Glass or metal build.  But it is difficult to find a phone below 25000 rupees with gorilla glass . Glass quality is low in all these phones. And low-quality glass is afraid of breaking but instead of plastic, you can consider leather type back. But metal body above 25k is better but above 35 if metal is not available it is worse.

The leather type back is better than the plastic but a little less than the glass and if you get the vegan leather then you will love holding the phones in your hands. But between 10 and 15 thousand rupees, you will not get gorilla glass or leather back, but you have to consider a plastic back smartphone.

Phones above 35 thousand rupees must have both a metal body and a glass back. And if you buy a Flagship phone above that, it would be great if it has a stainless steel body or a titanium body.

The next one is the Processor :

The processor plays an important role in a smartphone but below 30000 rupees No need to see the professor in any phone, if you buy a flagship-level phone then you can see the processor variant but the processor is made by three companies, one is Exynos one is Snapdragon another is MediaTek all phones these three companies are used. There is not much difference in performance between them, but in terms of gaming, Snapdragon‘s processor is the best. Always try to buy phones that look for low-nanometer microprocessor chips. (Like – 4nm, 6nm )

Another Main features is the Camera :

In 2024, we can see different types of cameras in phones, from 12 megapixels to 200 megapixels. They are giving three or four cameras on the phone. We don’t know what other types of cameras we will see on smartphones. Because of this, we are very confused about the camera before buying a phone. And this camera is another important feature of our phone.

Don’t blindly go, after watching that phone with 200-megapixel and  3-4 cameras. So you are wondering how to choose your phone’s camera, so let’s know some simple tricks on how we can understand whether a phone’s camera is good or bad.

1 . Selfe Camera

When you pick up the phone, open the selfie camera normally and take a selfie of your face. See how the detailing of your face looks in that selfie. It doesn’t show clear details. It shows dim detailing. If you can see everything in detail, then the selfie camera is good.

2.  Primary Camera

And when you take a photo with the primary camera, you can take it in different light conditions. For example, if you take a photo indoors, look at the curtains in your room or zoom in on the interior walls of the spot you are in to see how detailed they are. If it looks good then it’s a good camera and if not it can’t be taken.

Here are the names of some phones in which you can see natural colour tones in the photos, such as Samsung, Nothing, One Plus, and Motorola. And if you want a smartphone with slightly vibrant colour photos, you can go with Redmi, Realme, Oppo, and Vivo phones.

Let’s say an extra point with this is the IP rating. At the moment I think if you are going to buy a phone you should check if it has an IP rating because an IP rating is very important to protect the phone from having an accident anytime it falls into the water somewhere.

Next Point Is Battery :

Now we come to the battery. Battery is a thing that is the life of the phone, if the battery is not good, we cannot use any phone properly. As seen 3400 mAh battery lasts 2 days on iPhone but not even a day in Android it is a problem. Battery life completely depends on the optimization of your phone.

While buying the phone, you have to make sure that the phone has a minimum battery of 4500 mAh and it is better if you get it in the range of 5000 mAh to 6000 mAh.

Another thing to note is that the charging specification is written in the phone packet that supports 120 watts or 80 watts, but the charger with the smartphone supports 20 watts or 30 watts. In that case, if you have to buy charger separately then extra money but you have to spend and that money is a lot. So you have to make sure that you are getting the right charger according to the battery.

Miscellaneous :

Along with the main points discussed above, we have to take care of some other small things. For example, what is the Bluetooth version of the phone or what is the 5G band currently running on 5G? If you look at the Bluetooth version, you need to have at least 4.1 and in India, you need to have 5G band N78. Must-Have Wifi 6.

If you keep these few points in mind then you can buy a good smartphone from the market. Hope you like this article about ”How To Buy a Perfect Smartphone in 2024”. If you like this article then definitely share and comment your opinion. Thanks for visiting Topicmixer
